- פְּקִידָהf. (preced.) 1) examination. Nidd.I, 1; Eduy. I, 1 מפ׳ לפ׳ (her uncleanness dates back) from the present examination to the last one. Ib. הרי זו כפ׳ this is as good as an examination; a. fr. 2) divine visitation (for good or for evil), remembrance, decree; use of the verb פָּקַד.
